Gift Bag Presented by Grand Avenue Baby
SoulMate™ Diamonds and celebrity mom Jennie Garth hosted a day of shopping, lunch and children’s activities at West Hollywood’s most fashionable maternity boutique and media darling NOM (Naissance on Melrose) to help raise money for the Children's Defense Fund.
Jennie Garth, pregnant & beautiful!
Open to the public, mommies from all over Los Angeles, including a very pregnant Jennie Garth, Cheryl Hines and Melissa Joan Hart, came out with their kiddies for a pre-Mother's Day celebration and to help raise money for this important cause. Along with all the tempting goodies for sale, like NOM's stylish maternity clothes and Soulmate's stunning necklaces, there were fun activities for kids of all ages. In the back of the store you could decorate your own cupcake with many tempting candy treats. (I saw a few cupcakes with more candy on it than cake!) There was also a body artist airbrushing washable art on quite a few of the little girls. And A Wish brought out their pressing machine, creating sparkling Swarovski crystal tees on the spot!
Inside the store, while a dj spun family friendly tunes, we dined on a buffet of delicious sandwiches and other treats fit for any Mother's Day brunch. Meanwhile, Bohemian Baby passed out their organic, homemade baby food for the kids who weren't ready for the peanut butter sandwiches... I gotta say, this mommy would give Bohemian to her daughter just so I could enjoy whatever she didn't eat! And Izze sodas helped quench our thirsts. Overall, the day was fabulous. And to top it all off, when the valet brought around the car, they gave each mommy a rose... Awww! What a perfect event to jumpstart my first Mother's Day!
